CLEANING CHEMICALSActichem Percide is an advanced peroxide-based hospital-grade disinfectant and mould remover designed for demanding professional environments where effective microbial decontamination is essential. TGA listed as AUST L 332284, Percide is formulated to provide rapid antimicrobial action while also helping remove mould, staining and odours from suitable surfaces.
Its specialised peroxide chemistry is supported by super-wetting technology, allowing the active antimicrobial ingredients to penetrate into porous and semi-porous substrates. This makes Percide particularly valuable for mould remediation, bio-contamination, trauma cleaning and Category 3 water restoration.
Percide provides three important functions in one formulation: disinfection, mould eradication and cleaning/destaining. It is designed to destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi and mould while helping remove the visible staining associated with microbial growth.
When Percide contacts mould, its peroxide formulation produces visible fizzing as it reacts with the mould growth and helps lift contamination from surface pores. Actichem states that Percide achieved >99.99% reduction against Aspergillus brasiliensis in 10 minutes under the cited test conditions.

Actichem’s published testing reports rapid activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Proteus vulgaris, achieving greater than 99.999999% reduction in the cited hospital-grade disinfectant testing at neat strength and 60 seconds. Actichem also reports activity against mould, fungi, spores and enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.
Percide is supplied ready to use. Always pre-test an inconspicuous area for substrate sensitivity before widespread application. Apply the product directly to the contaminated surface and ensure thorough coverage. For mould remediation, allow sufficient contact time for the peroxide reaction and agitate stubborn contamination where required.
For fabrics and carpet, Actichem’s restoration guidance recommends diluting Percide to 50% strength with water and pre-testing before treatment. Follow the current product data sheet and SDS for the specific restoration application.
Actichem Percide combines hospital-grade disinfection, mould eradication, destaining and odour control in one peroxide-based formulation. Its ability to penetrate porous surfaces makes it particularly useful for demanding restoration and decontamination situations where surface contamination cannot be treated effectively by a simple spray-and-wipe cleaner.
Percide is an oxidising, acidic peroxide-based product and should be handled according to the current SDS. The SDS identifies hazards including skin irritation and serious eye damage. Wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection, avoid contact with eyes and skin, and follow the manufacturer’s handling and first-aid instructions. Never mix Percide with incompatible chemicals.
