🫧 How It Works

For crockery and kitchenware, Stainaway is diluted in hot water and used as a soaking solution. Actichem recommends dissolving 1 heaped tablespoon in 5 litres of hot water at a minimum of 60°C, then soaking cups, saucers, cutlery, teapots and similar items for 30–60 minutes.

For laundry, Actichem recommends adding 1 part Stainaway to 10 parts laundry powder and laundering stained articles at a temperature above 60°C. Always follow the product directions and textile-care requirements for the materials being treated.

⚠️ Important Safety Information

Although Actichem’s product data sheet describes Stainaway as non-hazardous, the current SDS classifies the product as a hazardous chemical and dangerous good, with hazards including harmfulness if swallowed, severe skin burns and eye damage, respiratory irritation, and oxidising properties. Appropriate PPE should therefore be worn when handling the powder, dust inhalation should be avoided, and the current SDS should always be followed.
