Drive Away is especially useful where oil leaks, grease deposits and oily films are a recurring cleaning problem. Agar specifically identifies engines, machinery, tools, concrete parking bays, driveways and workshop floors as applications for the product.
For concrete floors, Agar’s PDS specifies diluting Drive Away 1 part product to 3 parts cold water (1:4 total dilution), applying it to the affected area and allowing it to remain for at least 7 minutes before rinsing or removing the solution. Car parts may also be soaked in neat Drive Away or diluted up to 1:10 before being hosed with hot water.
AGAR Drive Away is flammable. Keep it away from cigarettes, flames, sparks, heaters, welding equipment and other ignition sources. Use only in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing vapours. Appropriate protective gloves, clothing and eye/face protection should be worn during handling.
Used solutions should not be discharged into stormwater drains. Follow local disposal requirements and the manufacturer’s SDS for safe handling and disposal.
