CLEANING CHEMICALS✨ Restore tired floors with AGAR Ultrastrip!
AGAR Ultrastrip is a super-concentrated floor polish remover designed to break down hardened layers of floor polish, wax and sealer so they can be removed before recoating. Its powerful stripping action helps prepare floors for a fresh finish while reducing the amount of mechanical scrubbing needed on suitable surfaces.
Ultrastrip penetrates old polish and sealer films, loosening accumulated coatings and heavy build-ups. Its low-foaming formula is designed to rinse away easily, leaving the floor clean and ready for recoating. With a low concentration of volatile ingredients, it is practically odourless during use, helping make floor-restoration work more comfortable for cleaning teams.
Use Ultrastrip to remove existing floor finishes before applying new polish or sealer. AGAR states that it will not affect metal, vinyl tile or wood surfaces. Rubber floors must be stripped using a dilution of at least 1:20, while sheet vinyl requires careful use with thorough dilution. Always test an inconspicuous area and check the flooring manufacturer’s recommendations before starting.
Designed for professional floor restoration, Ultrastrip is useful when routine maintenance can no longer remove worn coatings. Stripping back the old finish helps provide a clean base for applying fresh floor polish or sealer, supporting a better refinishing result.
For typical stripping, dilute one part Ultrastrip in 10–20 parts cold water. For heavier polish build-up, stronger concentrations up to 1:3 may be used, except on rubber and sheet vinyl, which require at least 1:20 dilution. Apply generously and keep the floor wet for 10–15 minutes. Scrub using a black pad under a slow-speed machine, collect the solution and rinse thoroughly with clean hot water. Porous floors require a flood rinse followed by wet vacuuming or mopping.
