CLEANING MACHINERY✨ Restore the right balance with AGAR Neutraliser!
AGAR Neutraliser is a concentrated acetic acid solution developed to neutralise alkaline residues in carpets and hard floors. It helps restore an acceptable pH after cleaning with highly alkaline detergents or stripping old floor finishes, preparing surfaces for subsequent maintenance and treatment.
After carpet extraction cleaning, alkaline detergent residues can remain trapped within the fibres. Similarly, stripping porous hard floors with alkaline polish removers may leave residual alkalinity within the surface. AGAR Neutraliser helps counteract these residues, reducing the risk of alkaline contamination affecting the appearance and performance of subsequent floor sealers.
When used during the final rinsing stage after floor stripping, Neutraliser helps remove residual alkalinity before new floor sealer is applied. It is particularly useful on porous hard floors, where residues can remain within the surface even after ordinary rinsing. For very porous floors, AGAR recommends using larger volumes of rinse water to support thorough neutralisation.
Beyond hard-floor restoration, Neutraliser can be used as a final neutralising rinse after carpet extraction cleaning. It is also designed to treat cellulosic browning stains that develop following overwetting, flooding or alkaline reactions in carpets and upholstery. Before treating stains, test each colour for colourfastness to help prevent fading or colour transfer.

How to Use:
1. Read the product label and current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
2. For hard floors after stripping, dilute AGAR Neutraliser at 1:200 in the rinse water.
3. Rinse the stripped floor thoroughly using the prepared solution.
4. For very porous floors, use a larger volume of rinse water to help remove residual alkalinity.
5. For carpet extraction machines, dilute Neutraliser at 1:100 and apply as the final neutralising rinse.
6. To neutralise alkaline residues in carpets, dilute at 1:100, spray onto the carpet and extract using vacuum only.
7. For cellulosic browning stains, first test colourfastness by dabbing the product onto a white cloth and checking each carpet or upholstery colour for fading or colour transfer.
8. If the test is satisfactory, spray the product neat onto the browning stain using a coarse spray. Do not create a fine mist.
9. Gently work the solution into the stain using a carpet rake, brush, cloth or gloved hand.
10. Do not rinse carpets after browning treatment. For upholstery, rinse with a 1:100 solution of Neutraliser.
11. Remove as much moisture as possible by wet-vacuuming or blotting with a clean white cloth or paper towel.
12. Repeat the browning treatment if persistent staining remains, following the manufacturer's instructions.
