AGAR HC-90 is a concentrated, low-alkaline, general-purpose detergent formulated for cleaning washable hard surfaces in commercial and professional environments. Its powerful grease-cutting agents and high level of emulsifiers help loosen, suspend and remove everyday dirt, oils, food spills and general traffic grime, supporting efficient routine cleaning.
HC-90 works by helping emulsify oily soilage and suspend loosened dirt so it can be removed without redepositing onto the cleaned surface. Its mild, low-alkaline formulation makes it suitable for routine cleaning where strongly alkaline detergents may damage sensitive finishes. It also has a low-foaming formula suitable for mopping, manual scrubbing and compatible automatic floor scrubbers.
This versatile detergent is suitable for waxed and polished floors, walls, glass, terrazzo, marble, slate and other compatible surfaces requiring a low-alkaline cleaner. It can also be used to wash dishes, pots and utensils, making it practical for food preparation areas and commercial kitchens. Always follow the relevant surface-care instructions to avoid damage to delicate finishes.
HC-90 is recommended for cleaning in hospitals and healthcare facilities. AGAR identifies it as suitable for general cleaning of medical instruments and certain sensitive plastics and rubber tubing. It is also suitable for compatible ultrasonic cleaning tanks. HC-90 is a cleaning detergent, not a disinfectant or sterilising agent, so any required disinfection or sterilisation must be performed separately.

AGAR HC-90 offers a versatile solution for professional cleaners and facility maintenance teams requiring effective routine cleaning across multiple surfaces. Follow the recommended dilution, rinse food-contact surfaces with potable water after use, and consult the current Safety Data Sheet for safe handling instructions.
1. Read the product label and current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
2. For heavy-duty cleaning, dilute 1 part HC-90 in 50 parts water.
3. For light-duty cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning, dilute 1 part HC-90 in 80 parts water.
4. Prepare the solution using a suitable measuring container or compatible dispensing equipment.
5. Apply with a mop, sponge, cloth or compatible automatic floor scrubber, depending on the cleaning task.
6. Allow the detergent to loosen the dirt and soilage, then wipe, scrub or mop the surface clean.
7. Routine floor surfaces generally do not require rinsing when the product is used as directed.
8. If used on food-preparation surfaces or items that contact food, rinse thoroughly with potable drinking water after cleaning.
9. For medical instruments, follow the applicable instrument manufacturer's cleaning instructions and required infection-control procedures. HC-90 is a detergent, not a disinfectant or sterilising agent.
