Developed for commercial floor-care applications, these products help maintain floor presentation and provide a durable coating for environments exposed to regular foot traffic.
The two finishes offer different aesthetic results. Satin Finish (10L) provides a low-gloss, non-reflective finish that minimises reflections while maintaining a professional appearance. Matte Finish (5L) produces a very low-sheen, non-reflective coating that helps reduce sunlight glare and creates a softer look. AGAR also lists Matte Finish in a 20L container.
Suitable floor types vary by product. Satin Finish is listed for applications including vinyl tiles, timber, terrazzo, marble, limestone and slate in AGAR’s floor-care selection guide. Matte Finish is suitable for vinyl, timber, stone, terrazzo and concrete. Both products are designed to support professional floor-maintenance programs.

The published Satin Finish pH comes from AGAR’s 2021 Safety Data Sheet; confirm the current specification before use.
Ideal for professional cleaning contractors, commercial buildings, retail premises, schools, hospitals, aged-care facilities and other organisations requiring a controlled floor finish. Select the coating according to the floor material and desired sheen.
Remove old polish, wax and soil using a compatible floor stripper. Rinse thoroughly, allow the floor to dry and remove dust before sealing. For Matte Finish, AGAR recommends applying 3–5 coats, allowing 20–40 minutes between coats, and leaving the coating to harden overnight. Maintain Matte Finish with AUTOSCRUB and do not buff it. Follow the applicable Satin Finish instructions for that variant.

1. Read the product label and current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
2. Remove adhesive, built-up polish, wax and other soilage using a suitable floor stripper such as ULTRASTRIP, DEMOLISH or STR-36.
3. Strip new floors before sealing to remove protective films that could prevent proper adhesion.
4. Rinse the floor thoroughly, allow it to dry completely and use a fringe mop to remove remaining dust.
5. Before applying Matte Finish, stir the product with a flat stirrer, as some settling may occur during storage.
6. For Matte Finish, apply 3–5 even coats using a suitable mop, allowing 20–40 minutes between coats.
7. Allow Matte Finish to harden overnight before normal use. Follow the current product instructions for Satin Finish; do not automatically apply the Matte Finish coating schedule to Satin Finish.
8. Maintain Matte Finish by cleaning with AGAR AUTOSCRUB. Do not buff Matte Finish.
9. To restore worn areas, scrub the affected area thoroughly and apply a fresh coat of Matte Finish.
10. If the Matte Finish coating becomes worn or discoloured after extended heavy traffic, strip it using ULTRASTRIP, rinse thoroughly and apply a new film of 3–5 coats.
11. Do not apply Matte Finish when the floor temperature is 9°C or below.
12. Acrylic sealers are generally unsuitable for non-porous ceramic or porcelain tiles. Test adhesion according to the manufacturer's instructions before treating an entire floor.
